
Four Individuals Detained in South Africa Over Boxer Vos Thabang Hlongwane's Murder
Four individuals have been taken into custody in connection with the murder of South African boxing champion Vos Thabang Hlongwane. The arrests were made by police in KwaZulu-Natal, according to official statements.
Hlongwane, a former South African junior featherweight champion, was reportedly shot and killed during a home invasion and robbery. The incident took place at his residence in the KwaNongoma area on Wednesday, 19 June.
One of the arrested suspects is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, 24 June. This individual faces charges of murder and attempted murder. Details regarding the charges for the other three suspects have not yet been released.
