Huntingdon Train Attacker Anthony Williams Asked Man 'Do You Want To Die?'
A court has heard that a man accused of multiple attempted murders, Anthony Williams, allegedly asked a passenger 'do you want to die?' before stabbing him on a train near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Williams, 40, is currently facing trial at the Old Bailey, denying 14 counts of attempted murder, with 10 of these charges relating to the train incident.
During the proceedings, jurors were presented with details of the alleged attack. The prosecution stated that the accused approached a male passenger and uttered the chilling question before proceeding with the assault. The precise motive behind the alleged query and subsequent attack remains a central element of the court's examination.
The trial continues as the court scrutinises the evidence and testimonies related to the series of alleged attacks, which encompass events beyond the train incident itself.
