Kent Properties See Water Supply Return, 400 Homes Remain Without Service
Water supply has been reinstated to 7,400 properties across Kent, according to South East Water. The utility provider confirmed that work to rectify service disruptions was successful for a significant portion of affected households.
Despite these restorations, approximately 400 residential properties in the Benenden, Cranbrook, and Rolvenden vicinities remain without a consistent water supply. South East Water stated that efforts are ongoing to resolve these remaining outages.
This disruption follows a series of operational issues impacting the region's water infrastructure. While the company has not provided specific details regarding the cause of the initial widespread outage, residents have expressed considerable frustration over the intermittency of services.
