Kenyan Former NFL Player Daniel Adongo Deported From US After Visa Expiry
Daniel Adongo, formerly a linebacker for the National Football League's Indianapolis Colts, has been deported to Kenya. US immigration authorities confirmed Adongo’s removal, citing his overstayed visa as the primary reason for the action.
Adongo, who signed with the Colts in 2013, had a tumultuous period following his brief NFL career. He was arrested on numerous occasions in the United States. Notable incidents included a domestic violence arrest in 2017 in suburban Indianapolis, where police reports detailed alleged assaults on his live-in girlfriend. He faced charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
Further arrests included an incident in January 2018 for alleged assault and battery, and a December 2018 arrest for alleged family violence. These legal issues preceded his eventual deportation. Adongo's tenure with the Colts ended in 2015.
