Man Arrested for 2018 Croydon Double Murder of Junior Ajose, Cheriff Tall
A 36-year-old man has been taken into custody six years after the fatal shooting of Junior Ajose and Cheriff Tall at a flat party in Croydon. Mr Ajose, 36, and Mr Tall, 21, were gunned down at a residential address on the evening of 20 April 2018.
Metropolitan Police detectives arrested the man on suspicion of murder. He currently remains in custody at a south London police station as the investigation progresses. This arrest follows a protracted inquiry into the double homicide, which occurred during a gathering in what authorities described as a “lockdown party”.
Both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the attack. Mr Ajose was pronounced dead at the scene, while Mr Tall succumbed to his injuries in hospital a short time later. Police have previously appealed for information regarding the incident, which occurred on a Friday night at a property where a large number of people were present.
