Man Killed in Cudworth Car Incident Identified Amidst Murder Inquiry

A man who tragically died after being struck by a car in Cudworth, near Barnsley, has been formally identified by his family as Liam Green, aged 45. The incident occurred on Rose Tree Avenue at approximately 17:00 BST on Friday.

Police Investigation Underway

South Yorkshire Police confirmed that Mr Green died at the scene after being hit by a white VW Tourareg. A murder inquiry was promptly launched following the incident.

Four individuals – two men aged 33 and 60, a 38-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old boy – have been arrested on suspicion of murder. All four currently remain in police custody as investigations continue.
