
Mark Cain Charged with Murder of GP Wife Hannah, Appears at Leeds Crown Court
Mark Cain, 50, appeared before Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday, facing a charge of murder. The accusation relates to the death of his wife, Dr Hannah Cain, a 47-year-old GP.
Dr Cain's body was found at their residence in Aughton, West Yorkshire, on Sunday. Emergency services were called to the property, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the brief court hearing, Mr Cain spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth. The court has scheduled a plea and trial preparation hearing for 27th May. Mr Cain has been remanded in custody until this date.
