
Murder Arrests After Man Dies Outside Bournemouth Cocktail Bar
Dorset Police have launched a murder investigation after a man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead following an alleged assault outside MyBar on Charminster Road, Bournemouth. Officers were called to the scene at approximately 03:00 BST.
The victim, from Christchurch, was declared deceased at the location. His next of kin have been informed of the tragic incident.
Three individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder. The arrested men, aged 37 and 46, are from Bournemouth, with a 34-year-old man from Poole also detained.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicky Jenkins, of Dorset Police's Major Crime Investigation Team, conveyed the force's condolences, stating, "Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly died and a detailed investigation is underway to establish what happened."
An extensive police cordon remains in place around the scene as officers conduct vital forensic and investigative work. Authorities anticipate a continued presence in the area over the coming days. Police are urging any witnesses, or those with relevant dashcam footage, to come forward and assist with their enquiries.
