
Nottingham Man Dies After Stabbing, Police Launch Murder Investigation
Nottinghamshire Police have initiated a murder investigation following the death of a man in his twenties who was stabbed in the city centre on Wednesday night.
The victim flagged down a police car on Lower Parliament Street at approximately 22:20 GMT on 19th June, indicating he had sustained a stab wound. Officers immediately provided first aid before paramedics transported him to hospital. He died shortly afterwards.
Police have cordoned off areas around Lower Parliament Street, South Parade, and Clinton Street South as forensic examinations are undertaken. Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Mark Adlington confirmed that enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify those responsible.
