Russian Double-Tap Drone Strike Kills Fifteen in Kremenchuk Shopping Centre
Fifteen civilians have died following a Russian double-tap drone strike on a shopping centre in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. Local officials reported that the attack also injured 130 people, among them 23 children. The use of a 'double-tap' tactic, where a second strike targets emergency responders arriving at the scene of an initial attack, is a documented feature of recent conflicts.
Ukrainian authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, which occurred in the Poltava region. Civilian infrastructure continues to be a frequent target in the ongoing conflict, resulting in substantial casualties and extensive damage across the country.
