
Seven Men Charged in Norwich Child Exploitation Case, Eighth Arrested in Ireland
Seven men have been charged with a total of 40 offences as part of an investigation into group-based child exploitation. The individuals, six aged 20 and one aged 21, were apprehended on Wednesday following coordinated raids across six properties in Norwich and one in Dumbarton, Scotland.
The charges pertain to two victims, who were in their early to mid-teens at the time of the alleged offences. These incidents are reported to have occurred between August 2023 and May 2025 within the Norwich area.
All seven men appeared before magistrates in Norwich, confirming only their names during the proceedings. Norfolk Police have further confirmed that an eighth man, aged 19, was arrested in Ireland on Friday in connection with the ongoing investigation.
