Sheffield City Centre Bar Shooting: Two Men, One Woman Arrested
South Yorkshire Police confirmed the arrest of two men and one woman in connection with a shooting that occurred outside the One Four One bar on West Street in Sheffield city centre. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 02:45 BST on Monday.
All three suspects remain in custody for questioning. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether anyone sustained injuries during the incident.
The ongoing police investigation has necessitated several road closures in the city centre. West Street is closed between Mappin Street and Westfield Terrace. Eldon Street, Westhill Lane, and a section of Orange Street are also inaccessible, with drivers advised to avoid the area.
The closures have also disrupted public transport, with tram services between Cathedral and Middlewood or Malin Bridge suspended indefinitely. Supertram has confirmed that tickets will be accepted on First and Stagecoach bus services operating through the affected zone.
