
Sheffield Woman Shot Outside One Four One Bar Identified as Innocent Bystander
A 30-year-old woman, killed by a gunshot outside the One Four One bar on West Street in Sheffield city centre, has been identified by South Yorkshire Police as an innocent bystander.
The victim, from Sheffield, was discovered with severe injuries at approximately 02:45 BST on Monday and subsequently died in hospital. Chief Superintendent Jamie Henderson stated the woman had been enjoying a bank holiday night out. Police are currently undertaking extensive efforts to identify all individuals involved in the incident.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the shooting. A 30-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were apprehended near Stockport, Greater Manchester, while another 30-year-old man was arrested in Sheffield. All three remain in custody.
While the deceased woman's identity has not yet been officially released by the police, her family has been notified. Ch Supt Henderson condemned the violence, stating, "An innocent woman who should have been able to safely enjoy her night out here in Sheffield has been killed and her loved ones have been left to face a heartbreaking reality that they will never see her again. Gun crime devastates."
