Stephen Bear Receives Extended Prison Sentence for Probation Breaches

Stephen Bear, the reality television personality currently serving a 21-month sentence for disclosing private sexual images, has received an additional 14 weeks in prison. Chelmsford Crown Court heard details of his repeated breaches of probation requirements, including unauthorised international travel and defiant social media posts.

Bear, 34, was initially jailed in March 2023 for 'revenge porn' offences involving his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison. His latest sentence stems from multiple violations of his post-release licence conditions. These include failing to report to probation, changing his address without permission, and a prohibited trip to Dubai in November 2023. During this period, he also visited Brazil, where he posted content suggesting law enforcement would not apprehend him, stating, "the police will not be able to catch" him.

Upon his return to the UK, Bear was arrested at Heathrow Airport on 17 January. The judge presiding over the case emphasised the flagrant nature of the breaches, underscoring the necessity for a custodial sentence to address the repeated disregard for court orders.
