Strabane Teenager Tianna Patterson Rescues Unconscious Boy from Bonfire, Police Investigate Assault

A 17-year-old girl, Tianna Patterson, has been praised for her quick thinking after she rescued an unconscious boy from a bonfire in Strabane, County Tyrone. Ms Patterson witnessed an assault on the boy before he fell into the burning structure.

The incident occurred on a recent evening, with Ms Patterson describing how she reacted on "instinct" to pull the boy to safety. Police were called to the scene, and the boy received immediate medical attention for his injuries.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed they are investigating the assault. Authorities have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward, emphasising their commitment to holding those responsible accountable.
