
Thetford Disorder: Police Arrest 15, Vow More After Reviewing Footage
Norfolk Police have confirmed the arrest of two more individuals in connection with the recent disorder in Thetford, bringing the total number of arrests to 15. The force stated that additional arrests are expected as officers continue to review footage related to the incidents.
The disturbances occurred on 10 and 11 May. A number of the incidents were captured on video and circulated online, prompting a police investigation and public appeal for information.
Superintendent Wes Hornigold, West Norfolk's District Commander, affirmed the police's commitment to holding those responsible accountable. He stated that the investigation is ongoing and that police teams are working through hours of footage to identify further individuals involved. The arrests to date span various alleged offences, including affray, public order offences, and assault.
