
Three Men Die in West London Pavilion Fire on New Zealand Way
Three men have died following a fire that engulfed a single-storey pavilion on New Zealand Way in west London. Firefighters rescued three individuals from the structure after the blaze erupted just before 19:00 BST on Saturday.
Two of the men were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third succumbed to his injuries later in hospital. Assistant Commissioner Pat Goulbourne of the London Fire Brigade confirmed the fatalities.
Approximately 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were deployed to the incident. The fire destroyed just over half of the pavilion before crews brought it under control by 21:25. The Metropolitan Police are supporting the fire brigade's ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire and are working to inform the victims' families.
