
Three-Year-Old Eleri Ellesmere Drowned in Pollensa Villa Swimming Pool
A three-year-old toddler, Eleri Ellesmere, drowned in a swimming pool at a private villa in Pollensa, Mallorca, during a family holiday in June, an inquest has been told. The child was discovered unresponsive in the pool.

The inquest, held in Ruthin, heard that Eleri, from Wrexham, was on holiday with her parents and twin sister when the incident occurred. Details presented at the hearing confirmed the toddler was found in the swimming pool. Paramedics attended the scene, but Eleri was pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination, conducted in Spain, concluded that the cause of death was drowning. Alison Chance, the senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, adjourned the inquest to a later date. Further information regarding the circumstances leading to the discovery in the pool is anticipated as proceedings continue.
