Vickrum Digwa's Police Van Confession Details Henry Nowak Southampton Murder
Vickrum Digwa was recorded in a police van discussing the murder of Henry Nowak in Southampton, providing a detailed confession that has now been presented in court. The recording, which captures Digwa speaking to another individual, features him admitting to being present when Nowak was stabbed.
In the audio, Digwa states, "I was there when he got stabbed, yeah. I watched him get stabbed." He further elaborated on the number of stab wounds Nowak sustained, claiming to have seen the victim fall to the ground. This account aligns with evidence presented by his co-defendant, Michael Apeh, who previously identified Digwa as the assailant.
Digwa’s statements within the police vehicle contradict his earlier assertions of innocence. The prosecution alleges that Digwa, along with Apeh and others, attacked Nowak following a dispute. The trial continues, with this recording serving as significant new evidence.
