Woman Charged With Murder of 77-Year-Old Harry Heslop at Retirement Home

Cleveland Police have charged a woman with murder after a 77-year-old man died at retirement accommodation in Hartlepool. Harry Heslop was pronounced dead following an incident at a property on Hartlepool's Raby Road in the early hours of Tuesday, 21st May.

Officers were called to the address at approximately 01:45 BST. A 51-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and has now been formally charged with Mr Heslop's murder. She is scheduled to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court.

Police stated that their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mr Heslop's death is ongoing. Residents of the retirement accommodation have been informed, with authorities assuring them of increased police presence in the area as enquiries continue.
