
16-Year-Old Denny High Pupil Charlie Noble Dies at Bracklinn Falls
A 16-year-old boy has died at Bracklinn Falls, a beauty spot north-east of Callander, following reports of a person in the water. Police confirmed that Charlie Noble's body was recovered after emergency services attended the scene at approximately 18:45 on Thursday.
Police Scotland has stated that the death of the Denny High pupil is not being treated as suspicious. Bracklinn Falls comprises a series of waterfalls on the Keltie Water, situated within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
Paul Dunn, head teacher at Denny High School, conveyed the school community's profound sorrow. He described Charlie as a "highly-valued member" of the school, held in "great affection" by pupils, staff, and the wider community. Mr Dunn extended the school's deepest condolences to Charlie's family and friends, acknowledging the distress caused by the incident.
The school is providing support for pupils and staff to help them cope with the loss, recognising the significant impact this tragic event has had on the entire community.
