Arrest Made in Primrose Hill Fatal Stabbing Investigation
Metropolitan Police have confirmed the arrest of a 27-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of Finbar Sullivan. Mr Sullivan, aged 21, was discovered with fatal stab wounds at the popular north London location on Tuesday and pronounced dead at the scene.
A second individual, aged 25, has also been detained on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both men were arrested on Friday and remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Andy Griffin reiterated that his "thoughts remain with Finbar's family", who are receiving support from specialist officers. He emphasised that while arrests have been made, officers are still working tirelessly to identify and trace everyone involved in the incident.
DI Griffin extended gratitude to members of the public who have already provided information and appealed for anyone with further details or footage from Primrose Hill on the day of the attack to come forward. Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area as local officers maintain patrols.
