
Blackpool Restaurant Out £100 as Two Customers Abscond Without Paying
A restaurant in Blackpool is facing a loss of around £100 after two customers reportedly left without paying for a lavish meal. CCTV footage captured the pair enjoying a significant seafood platter and eight Coca-Colas at the Blue Anchor on North Promenade on Monday evening.
The restaurant owner, who declined to be named, stated the individuals consumed a “massive seafood platter” before departing. The establishment has since shared images of the customers online in an attempt to identify them and recoup the losses.
Lancashire Police confirmed a report of theft had been received on Tuesday, 21 May, concerning the incident at the Blue Anchor restaurant. Inquiries are reportedly ongoing into the matter.
