Donald Trump, while serving as US President, dispensed $45,000 in cash gifts to three White House aides, according to public financial disclosures. Natalie Harp, a former presenter for Trump's Truth Social platform, was among the recipients, along with executive assistant Molly Michael and former chief of staff executive assistant Madeleine Westerhout.

Each of the three women received $15,000, bringing the total to $45,000. These payments were recorded in financial disclosure forms as "gifts" and classified as "personal". Harp's previous role included chairing the advisory board for the 2020 re-election campaign.

White House ethics rules permit employees to accept personal gifts, provided they are not linked to official duties. The disclosed payments have been characterised by Trump’s representatives as entirely personal and within legal parameters.
