
Edinburgh Police Apprehend Six Individuals Following Man's Abduction, Longniddry Discovery
Six people have been arrested in connection with the abduction of a man in Edinburgh. Police Scotland confirmed the individuals, comprising four men and two women, were taken into custody following an incident in the city centre on Sunday, 21 April.
The victim was reported missing after being forcibly taken from the West Market Street area. He was later found approximately 15 miles away in Longniddry, East Lothian, and transported to hospital as a precautionary measure. His current condition has not been disclosed, but police stated he received appropriate care.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed the arrests on Tuesday, 23 April. The force stated that enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the abduction.
