Three women have come forward to describe their experiences, which included significant post-operative infections and permanent alterations to their appearance.

One woman, who travelled for the procedure, reported that her eyelids became severely infected, causing her such distress that she was hesitant to sleep. Another individual detailed how the surgery resulted in her eyelids being unable to close properly, necessitating further corrective procedures. A third patient experienced ongoing disfigurement and discomfort, highlighting the potential for long-term health consequences.
