Jeremy Clarkson Confirms Prostate Cancer Remission After 2025 Diagnosis
Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed he is in remission from prostate cancer, just days after publicly disclosing his battle with the illness. The revelation came during the latest episode of his programme, Clarkson's Farm, where he stated he was diagnosed with an "aggressive" form of the cancer in 2025.
In an interview, Mr Clarkson, 66, confirmed that subsequent testing two months prior showed no remaining trace of cancer, officially placing him in remission. "I am without a doubt, officially, the world's luckiest man," he remarked, highlighting the potential for the cancer to have spread to other organs.
Mr Clarkson utilised his pub's social media presence to encourage others to undergo testing. He noted that early detection was crucial in his case, preventing him from becoming one of the "12,000 people, men [who] die every year in the UK from prostate cancer". He now undergoes regular blood tests, aware of a 40% recurrence rate, but remains optimistic.
The former Top Gear presenter's health was a central theme in the fifth series of Clarkson's Farm, concluding with him in a hospital bed. His cancer diagnosis followed a routine medical check in May 2025. Prior to this, Mr Clarkson underwent a heart procedure in October 2024, receiving two stents.
