Joshua Cammidge Charged with Assisting Russian Intelligence Service, Faces Court
A man identified as Joshua Cammidge will face Westminster Magistrates' Court today, charged with offences under the National Security Act 2023. Mr Cammidge stands accused of two counts of assisting a foreign intelligence service.
The Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command formally charged Mr Cammidge on Wednesday. The charges specify that between 2 August 2023 and 21 February 2024, in London, he allegedly engaged in conduct benefiting a Russian intelligence service.
