Kosovo Assembly Sees Opposition MP Throw Eggs at Acting Prime Minister Kurti
During a session of Kosovo's Assembly, Time Kadrijaj, an MP from the opposition Alliance party, threw multiple eggs at acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti. The incident occurred as Kurti was addressing the chamber, prompting immediate disruption.
Footage from the Assembly shows Kadrijaj launching at least four eggs in Kurti's direction. Several lawmakers and police officers were forced to intervene to de-escalate the situation following the projectile assault.
This display of parliamentary aggression underscores the volatile political climate within Kosovo. Such actions often serve to publicly register profound dissatisfaction with government policy, a tactic that, while disruptive, draws significant attention to opposition grievances.
