London Underground Drivers' Two-Day Strike Proceeds After Talks Collapse
Two 24-hour strikes by London Underground drivers will proceed on Tuesday and Thursday, following the collapse of talks aimed at averting the industrial action.
Major disruption is anticipated across the Tube network as members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union participate in the walkouts. The dispute centres on Transport for London's (TfL) proposals to implement a voluntary four-day working week.
The RMT union previously stated that TfL had declined to engage in substantial discussions regarding the union's concerns. In response, TfL described the planned industrial action as disappointing.
