Romanian National Stanislav Carpiuc Deported After Starmer Arson Attacks Sentence
A Romanian national, Stanislav Carpiuc, has been deported from the United Kingdom after serving a sentence for arson attacks linked to Labour leader Keir Starmer.
Carpiuc was handed a suspended prison term in June for setting fire to Starmer's car and property. The incidents occurred in late 2023, causing damage but no injuries.
The expulsion underscores the UK's policy on foreign nationals convicted of criminal offences, particularly those involving political figures. His deportation was enacted shortly after the judicial proceedings concluded.
