Russian Missile Barrage Kills 38 Civilians, Destroys Aid Centre and Hospital in Ukraine
A recent wave of Russian missile strikes has claimed the lives of at least 38 civilians across Ukraine within 24 hours. President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that dozens of individuals are likely still trapped beneath rubble following the extensive bombardment.
The targeted infrastructure included a critical aid distribution centre, a hospice, and a hospital, exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe in several regions. These attacks underscore the continued disregard for civilian protection and essential services during the ongoing conflict.
International bodies and human rights organisations have repeatedly documented violations of international law in such targeting of civilian facilities. The destruction of an aid hub will severely impede relief efforts, directly impacting vulnerable populations already struggling with limited resources and displacement.
