Steven Daniel Arrested in Glasgow Organised Crime Raid
Steven Daniel, commonly known as 'Bonzo' and identified as a central figure in Glasgow's organised crime networks, was taken into custody on Wednesday. Police officers executed a warrant at his home in the north of Glasgow as part of an ongoing investigation.
Law enforcement officials stated that the arrest pertains to an enquiry into serious organised crime. Daniel, 43, has been held for questioning, with authorities indicating that the investigation remains active and further details would be released as appropriate.
This operation marks a notable development in efforts to address organised criminality within the city. Daniel has previously been a target in gang-related violence, most notably surviving a machete attack in May 2017. His arrest signals continued police pressure on established criminal organisations in the region.
