
Walthamstow Blaze Engulfs House, Gardens, and Railway Embankment; 100 Firefighters Deployed
More than 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines were dispatched to tackle a substantial fire in Walthamstow, east London. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed that the incident affected a house, several gardens, and a railway embankment, prompting an extensive response.
Fire crews were called to the scene on Northcote Road at approximately 16:30. The LFB indicated that the fire's severity required a prolonged operation to bring it under control and prevent its escalation into neighbouring properties and infrastructure.
