Anthony Williams Attacked Huntingdon Teenager Before Train Stabbing Spree, Court Hears
A court has heard that Anthony Williams, 26, stabbed a 14-year-old boy in Huntingdon before launching a subsequent attack on passengers aboard a train. Williams denies charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
During the trial, the court was told that the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, sustained injuries during the initial assault on a footpath. He described feeling a 'sudden jab' to his stomach and a 'sharp pain', stating that Williams appeared to be 'not sane' at the time.
Following this incident, Williams reportedly boarded a train at Huntingdon station. Police apprehended him at Peterborough station, where he was found with a knife. The prosecution alleges that Williams proceeded to stab two individuals on the train before his arrest.
The jury was presented with evidence detailing the sequence of events, beginning with the attack on the boy in Huntingdon and culminating in the train assaults. The trial continues, focusing on Williams's state of mind and the specifics of the alleged attacks.
