Dawood Safi Admits Manslaughter of Dog Walker in West London
Dawood Safi, 22, has entered a guilty plea to the manslaughter of a man in West London. The victim, who was walking his dog, died following an incident on 16 May. Safi appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from custody.
Despite the manslaughter plea, Safi maintains a not guilty stance on two further charges. These include the attempted murder of his landlord and the attempted murder of a teenage boy, both related to the same sequence of events. A trial on these remaining charges is scheduled to commence on 28 November.
The Metropolitan Police had previously confirmed the death of the dog walker at the scene. Emergency services, including paramedics, had responded to reports of a stabbing in the area.
