Community Tributes to a 'Loving Young Footballer'
Sundon Park Rangers Football Club, where Noah played, hosted a poignant service at Leagrave Park. Attendees, including members of the wider football community, released balloons and listened to Liverpool FC's anthem, 'You'll Never Walk Alone'. A minute's applause was held, and a football shirt was signed in his memory.
Michael Mapp, Noah's under-14s manager, described him as a "fun, loving, young footballer" who "always put a smile on everyone's face." Jamie Conroy, who coached Noah at Sacred Heart Youth Football Club, echoed these sentiments, highlighting Noah's talent and his role as a "bit of a joker of the group." Both managers expressed profound devastation at the loss.
Finbarr Fitzpatrick, Chairman of Sundon Park Rangers, observed that the widespread attendance from rival clubs underscored how "football is a lot more than just football," demonstrating that "rivalries are out the door" in times of tragedy. He noted the strong community support and how Noah's death had deeply affected many, even those who only knew him from weekend matches.
