Joanne Sheen's Remains Found in London, Southampton Woman Missing Since 2019

Human remains found in west London have been formally identified as Joanne Sheen, a woman from Southampton who was reported missing in February 2019. Detectives confirmed the identification following forensic analysis.

Ms Sheen, 43, was last seen in the Southampton area. Her remains were discovered on land in Duke's Meadows, Chiswick, on 10 May. Specialist officers informed her family of the identification earlier this week.

A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive regarding the cause of death. However, police stated that there are currently no indications of suspicious circumstances surrounding Ms Sheen's death. The investigation remains active as authorities seek to establish the full timeline of events.
