Laurence Billam, 92, Charged with Shirley Billam Murder in Exeter

A 92-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of an 87-year-old woman in Exeter, Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police responded to a welfare concern at an address on Millbrook Lane on 19 April, where Shirley Billam was found deceased.

Laurence Billam, of Millbrook Lane, is scheduled to appear at Exeter Magistrates' Court on Tuesday to face the murder charge. Authorities have confirmed that the family is receiving support from specialist officers.
