
Leicestershire Couple Died from Impact Trauma in Caernarfon Airport Plane Crash
Sheetal Swali, 37, and Ketan Swali, 58, both from Oadby, Leicestershire, succumbed to multiple impact trauma when their light aircraft crashed near Caernarfon Airport, an inquest at Pontypridd heard.
The couple were undertaking a recreational flight in their two-seater plane, a Cirrus SR22, when the incident occurred on 15 May. Coroner David Regan confirmed the cause of death for both individuals following post-mortem examinations.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing, with the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) expected to publish a full report detailing the circumstances leading to the fatal incident. The inquest has been adjourned to allow for the completion of these inquiries.
