Liberal Democrats Select Camden Councillor Patrick Stillman to Challenge Keir Starmer's Holborn and St Pancras Seat
The Liberal Democrats have formally chosen Patrick Stillman, a Camden councillor, to stand against Labour leader Keir Starmer in the Holborn and St Pancras constituency during the forthcoming general election. Stillman currently represents the Belsize ward on Camden Council, having secured his seat in 2022 by overturning a Conservative majority. He previously contested the Hampstead and Kilburn parliamentary seat in 2019.
Stillman's selection signals the Liberal Democrats' intent to challenge Labour in a constituency that has been held by Keir Starmer since 2015. While Holborn and St Pancras is considered a safe Labour seat, Stillman’s prior electoral experience and local council position are being highlighted by his party.
