
Motorcyclist Dies in Isle of Lewis A857 Collision Near Stornoway
A 56-year-old man has died after his motorcycle was involved in a collision on the Isle of Lewis. The fatal incident took place on the A857 Ness to Stornoway road on Saturday afternoon.
Police Appeal for Information
Emergency services responded to the crash, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police Scotland confirmed the fatality and have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has dash-cam footage from the A857 around the time of the crash, to come forward. Information can be provided by contacting Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2206 of 25 May.
