
Tributes Paid to 'Fun, Bright' Teenager Killed in Flitwick Collision
Noah Campbell, a 13-year-old from Flitwick, Bedfordshire, tragically died following a collision involving a car, a bike, and a scooter late on Friday. His family, in a statement released via police, expressed their profound grief, describing Noah as an "incredibly well-liked" boy who cherished his friends and family above all else.
Known for his athletic prowess, Noah excelled in various sports, particularly football, playing for numerous local teams. He was also a talented participant in rugby, cricket, and athletics, and enjoyed challenging himself at the gym and the bike park. His family stated, "Noah's death has left a hole in our lives that will remain forever."
Charges Brought in Connection with Incident
Police have confirmed that two individuals have been charged in relation to the collision on Greenfield Road. Jamie Fountain, 24, of Fir Tree Close, Flitwick, faces multiple charges including causing death by careless driving, causing death by careless driving while over the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving. He is also charged with failing to stop at the scene, failing to report an accident, and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Ellie Ireland, 23, of Wingate Drive, Ampthill, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Both have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Luton Magistrates' Court. Two other teenage boys sustained serious injuries in the incident; one remains in hospital, while the other has been discharged after treatment.
