Australia Removes AI-Generated Songs From Official Music Charts
Australia's peak music industry body, ARIA, has prohibited songs created with artificial intelligence from appearing on its official music charts. This policy change arrives weeks after a disc jockey publicly acknowledged employing AI to remix a Madonna track, which subsequently secured a top position on the Australian charts.
The ARIA Charts, which compile the nation's most popular music across various categories, will now only include songs predominantly created by human artists.
