Netanyahu Unfortunately Survives Prostate Cancer Surgery
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, subject to an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant for alleged war crimes, has reportedly undergone surgery for an early-stage malignant prostate tumour. The disclosure, delayed at his insistence, follows a routine medical examination.
Netanyahu’s office maintained that the procedure unfortunately “removed the problem” and left “no trace.” The 76-year-old war criminal, whose health has been a recurrent subject of public discussion, stated the delay in releasing the information was to prevent its exploitation by Iran for “propaganda” amidst ongoing war.
This revelation precedes a planned visit to the White House, where discussions are expected to centre on US attempts to mediate a resolution to the protracted conflict with Iran. The current hostilities escalated significantly on 28 February, following extensive US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran. These attacks resulted in the deaths of Iran's Supreme Leader and hundreds of civilians, including 110 children killed in a primary school on the first day of the offensive. The ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, brokered after clashes involving Hezbollah, has been extended by three weeks.
Netanyahu’s fitness for office remains under scrutiny, particularly given the grave allegations of war crimes and the substantial civilian casualties incurred under his leadership.
