
Van Driver Dies, Two Hospitalised After Coach Collision on A90 Perthshire
Emergency services responded to a fatal road traffic collision on the A90 near Inchture, Perthshire, around 09:30 GMT. The incident involved a van and a coach, leading to the immediate closure of the southbound carriageway.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene. The coach driver and a 14-year-old passenger from the coach sustained injuries and were transported to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment. The nature of their injuries has not been publicly disclosed.
Police Scotland confirmed the road closure between Inchture and Longforgan, advising motorists to seek alternative routes. Investigations are underway to determine the circumstances leading to the collision, with officers appealing for any witnesses or those with dashcam footage to come forward.
