Prime Minister Burnham has affirmed the United Kingdom's steadfast support for Ukraine, categorising recent pronouncements from the Kremlin as 'outrageous threats'. This follows Moscow's warnings of unspecified 'consequences' over the reported use of British-supplied drones by Ukrainian forces.

Speaking from Downing Street, Burnham reiterated the UK's commitment to Ukraine's defence, stating that London would not be deterred by what he termed Russian intimidation tactics. The Prime Minister's remarks came in response to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, which cautioned against further military assistance to Kyiv, specifically mentioning alleged British drone involvement in attacks.

Western nations, including the UK, have provided extensive military aid to Ukraine since the 2022 invasion.
